git-Spigot-e4d4710-e1ebe52 (MC:1.8.8) (Implementing API version 1.8.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT). Just to be clear, I was using normal spigot at the time reporting this issue. I tried using paperspigot later, but that didn't work...

I might have found the issue. I think ProtocolSupport is causing it, are there any known bugs with ProtocolSupport? (https://build.true-games.org/job/ProtocolSupport/)
