As far as AGG r139 - GPLv3 license (i.e. reference the current COPYING file) is now used. The MIT license was the original license under the original author/programmer.

No. Just upstream your patches to GDB dev so they can approved them. Simple enough. I did this exact procedure using the current **GDB 6.3-2** port - and its broken...

If it crashes for you, look into that with the GDB devs. That's it. No need attacking anyone on any forum for any reason.
