same issue, nothing seems to really fix this

we need to be able to set or read the ID or there is no point to this software, going to have to make my own build just to do...

this also affects me, seems very hard to do in ubuntu as it keeps overwriting manually placed config files

Also encountered this bug, still here in version 3.1.0 If a submenu is folded open it needs to prevent the click event from triggering the link on the parent menu...
