Hello! I agree with you, it should be in the official doc, but it should be clearly marked as unstable as I expect the configuration to change in the future...

We should add an option to `_migrateVmWithStorageMotion` to optionally allow suspending or shutting down the VM and add a `defer()` reverting the action.

There should not be differences between XOA and from sources. Waiting for a reproduction or another report.

I have no idea what to do with this? - should we retry for all errors? - should we retry the whole VM backup or only the failed step? -...

The changes will not be available until we package and publish a new XOA.

@kevemueller I have deployed a new version of the script that should correctly handle the fallback. That would be great if you could test it :)

XO file restore implementation should follow this documentation: https://github.com/vatesfr/xen-orchestra/blob/master/packages/xo-server/docs/file-restoration.md If you can try to do it manually and report any problems you have, that could speed up the investigation/resolution :slightly_smiling_face:
