Sorry for the late reply! I cannot produce this behaviour since I don't have Linux machine around me and `mu4e` doesn't just work on Windows. Anyway, I reckon this issue...

There is currently no way to do that. I would consider this is a feature request! There are other alteratives, both [lsp-grammarly](https://github.com/emacs-grammarly/lsp-grammarly) and [eglot-grammarly](https://github.com/emacs-grammarly/eglot-grammarly) should have these kind of features....
