This seems to recover after `git clean -fxd` but not after an Sbt clean.

Could this be related to early outputs? Something in the pickle jars? Is there a way to disable the output of early jars if not using pipelining?

Do you mean to make the change, deploy and try a fork of this repo? I couldn't find any docs on how to deploy this action (never used GitHub Actions...
