Not currently. As the error says, there is no spm manifest file. It's possible, just hasn't been done.

I've been hesitant to do it in the past, but I'm thinking now it's kind of reasonable. The point about the delay in the arrow commands is a good one.

I'm unfamiliar with DisplayLink. Do other commands work? For example, focusing a window on that screen via shortcut?
