Since a bot closes issues quickly, I cast my vote here, too.
Why? I only need to adjust these settings _once_. Just hit the "?" on your keyboard to bring up this dialog (don't have to remember anything 😉):

Easy fix: don't use black. 😉 Otherwise you'd have to use things like: raytracing, subsurface scattering, shine, roughness, etc.

I turned Arc Fitting off and put Arcwelder into post... much better results imho.
