That would definitely work for me (it isn't working right now though according to my testing, right?)
It would be nice to see progress on this one as I'm still seeing that issue and it is the only reason I have to keep docker installed.
I'd like to add that I'm right now on the road doing development work through my mobile data plan. The base image I need is >4 GB and available locally....
