I updated the kernel on my pi and it's been stable on 32 bit. I tried going to 64 bit and it was far, far worse.

@kovar-ursa I was having the same issue, and after updating to 2.2.24 alpha (which incorporates some position fixes) my device is reporting more reasonable altitudes (within 100ft at any rate)....

Nevermind, mine went back to reporting 140874865.12ft lol. Impressively high.

Came here to report thr.timeout issue, only to find that it had not only been reported but fixed and was in Alpha. I installed alpha and it worked. Screen refresh...
