You need to manually open issues in https://github.com/jessicatytam/specieshindex - do not use the GitHub "convert to issue" feature, as it opens issues in the wrong repository.

@cariyurek - can you try removing the blank link in a bib entry (line 24) in your bib file, then try this command again?

Also, we don't currently have any appropriate editors with availability for additional papers, so I'm going to put this on our waitlist for now.
