I think @raulk had some thoughts on initial values here.

Hey @Stebalien , Jake and I are looking at this this week. Do we need FFI wiring for this API too, or are you wrapping it internally or something?

This needs to be rebased on top of https://github.com/filecoin-project/filecoin-ffi/pull/450, not master

I think this needs to target `feat/nv23` and not `master`. Sound correct, @rjan90?

First thought is to check for memory leaks, as the valgrind command has been removed from CI, but seems reasonable otherwise
