This is actually something Alacritty has run into (see https://github.com/jwilm/alacritty/pull/3081) and I can confirm that this is only the case on Windows.
I see no good reason to add an option for rounded window corners to Alacritty. Is there no global option to enable/disable rounded corners on Windows?

Which macos version? Did this work before, or is this the first time you've tried this?
It's just a bit unfortunate because ctrl+shift+space is already our backup binding to work around an existing Windows binding for ctrl+escape.
Closing this for now, I don't see a need to change the default especially because there aren't really any obvious better alternatives. For most people this seems to not conflict...
Can you share the `alacritty -vvv --print-events` log while the font size change is happening? Also does this happen for you every time you start/stop the screensaver, or just once?
