I fixed this by adding another additional directive named hm-require-failure that runs after all the recognizers are created. The problem is that hammer needs both of the recognizers to exist...

Have you tried removing and re-adding the iOS platform? The duplicate symbols error is usually related to some old reference that XCode has.
