@WhyNotHugo 4.2 works on python < 3.11. After that you will also need to install setuptools. There is a show stopper bug that affects 5.2 - HEAD in this repo...

I added the changelog for 4 and 4.1. You can see it in the [latest docs build](https://django-polymorphic.readthedocs.io/en/latest/changelog.html). The stable build should work again once we have a new release tag.
Thank you for the report! Have you confirmed that repointing the polymorphic_ctype_id of the deleted IDs to the parent model ContentType fixes the problem?
