My bad, your reply made me realise that the rule that's causing trouble for me is actually [control-has-associated-label](https://github.com/jsx-eslint/eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y/blob/master/docs/rules/control-has-associated-label.md)! Looks like the issue I'm after is #566. Apologies.
