As far as I know, this is currently a limitation on the Firefox side. Non-"Recommended Extensions" can currently [only be activated in Firefox Nightly](https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/29/expanded-extension-support-in-firefox-for-android-nightly/).

@yasir-raza just to be sure: [did you read the README](https://github.com/codekidX/storage-chooser#notes) and checked for the permissions `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` and `WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`? This looks like a duplicate from #103 for me.

Wouldn't be [`alien`](http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/alien) feasible as well? Something like `alien --to-rpm --scripts prax_0.6.1-1_amd64.deb`
