Since [macos-14](https://github.com/actions/runner-images/issues/8439#issuecomment-2053989586) the runners are now ARM based so `macos-latest` as used here is now running on ARM. I will add [macos-latest-large](https://github.com/actions/runner-images#available-images) to support Intel again.
