Try turning off card read DMA in the per-game settings menu.

In TWLMenu++, press Y to open the per-game settings menu, and scroll down to the option.

Make sure WiFi is turned on in TWLMenu++ Settings then.

If you've already made sure to save the setting(s) by pressing B to exit TWLMenu++ settings, try downgrading to each version until it starts working again.

Have you found out which version had Download Play working, or if updating has fixed it?

Later versions have fixed soft-resetting, as well as adding `Reset Game` to the in-game menu.

Can you see if it's fixed in the new TWLMenu++ update with the stealth nds-bootstrap build? If it's not fixed there, try turning off heap shrink.

Did changing the heap shrink option have any effect?
