Seems to be Android only. Works as expected on iOS (both simulator and physical), but getting the issue on a physical Pixel 6.

CollectionView crashes/behaves weird when ObservableCollection updated quickly

Workaround for me was to instantiate a new ObservableCollection. Not ideal for memory usage but didn't need hardcoded delays.

[iOS] CollectionView takes up huge vertical space

Ran into this as well when using CarouselView. Only workaround I found was to set the MaximumHeightRequest on it.
