PDF Doesn't show after phone hits lock screen

This PDF viewer works fantastically, the only issue i seem to have is, once the PDF is loaded and i'm viewing it, if the phone goes to the lock screen...

There seems to be an issue with the MAC OSX app, if i leave the app open overnight, but disconnected from a room, upon my return, if i add anything...
