It's important to keep us distinct from the Rust book, for example. Ultimately, we're not rewriting book. As my understanding follows, this is roughly the goal: > To train folks...

@Biswa96 Sorry, I was unclear what my problem was, could you take a look at the updated description? It's the "Packaging" tab not Project.

I have already read this page (reading from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/package/packaging-uwp-apps#configure-an-app-package): ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/130903/66056533-1eb36980-e4ec-11e9-9fc2-523f0e437968.png) Which takes you to here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/package/create-certificate-package-signing#use-new-selfsignedcertificate-to-create-a-certificate ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/130903/66056607-3db1fb80-e4ec-11e9-85d4-1a8fd67ec8a5.png) Which is the command I have in the issue description. :)

Ok, thanks. :) This is still an open issue though since the README is unclear and/or incorrect.

@benhillis I would love to, could you help me understand what the 'correct' workflow is?

@bonafont That sadly still does not show any packaging tab.

So it's not possible to follow the guide with VS Community?

I kind of put it down and haven't gotten back to it. :(

I also noted that the current defaults are different than the README suggests: https://github.com/microsoft/WSL-DistroLauncher/blob/1f8551f7e2ea22bba2e6fb02f01e7a5f7fb757f3/DistroLauncher-Appx/DistroLauncher-Appx.vcxproj#L13-L14 ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/130903/66060605-c9c72180-e4f2-11e9-84f4-bed2f113d509.png)
