Same issue here on my end on my RX 6800XT (Mesa 25.2.6, Linux 6.17.7-300). It's especially apparent when gammastep is fading in the red-light filter. Shouldn't this issue be opened...

Which means that it's inhibiting idle when pavucontrol is opened. What's the issue here?

So the only intended use of the program is to inhibit idle when a program uses the audio devices, and you don't want it to do that?
