To my knowledge it is made as a part of [this](https://github.com/VoidXH/Cavern) github project. The project is designed largely to decode object-based media formats.

I reached out and per [this](https://github.com/VoidXH/Cavern/issues/126#event-10798762905) issue on Cavern's github, the object mode _is_ mixed. Just not documented as such.

I was able to fix a similar problem by rebuilding dependencies.

Maybe. It would seem that all of the current solutions have significant issues though.

I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to exclude them either. Rather, it may be a better idea to add a default tag for Demos.

Assuming this gets finished, would it be possible to have a Cavern Flatpak made available?

Yeah, it's also worth considering that _every_ UI framework has it's shortcomings. I get not liking Maui, but being a bit more specific would really help sidestep any issues.

AFAICT there's no reason for any immediate concern regarding AES or Twofish's vulnerability to attack. Be it from a classical computer or quantum computer. This I believe is doubly true...
