I have an idea for a workaround, maybe make a script that when _[Errno 24] Too many open files_ detected, it automatically restart the app? Restarting app solved the issue.

I'm also facing the same issue. Not just the voice, but also the language. I've changed the settings on Android system but it remains using default English voice.
