Conflicts with Dash to Dock/Workspaces to Dock
~$ gnome-shell --version GNOME Shell 3.10.2.1 @ Fedora
Problem: When both Dash To Dock and Workspaces to Dock extensions are set "fixed/always visible", the dropped-down terminal correctly accounts for the space taken by those extension thus reducing its own size. Only that it adds padding on the right hand side of the screen equivalent to the sum of the two docks (instead of the only one active on the right), which causes the opened terminal to be displayed below the dash dock.
I have this issue as well.. I use dash-to dock only and the drop down terminal does account for the difference in screen size but it removes the extra size from the right side instead of the left
I have the same issue. Adjust the terminal width in pixel or percent would a good workaround for me.
same issue here
Hello, I have the same problem with dash to dock. Is there a way to resize terminal width?
I have the same problem as well. I'd love to find a solution if anyone has any ideas.
Hi, same issue at my end. Unfortunately even removing dash to dock extension doesn't help. Still overlaps and makes the terminal unusable. Any suggestions yet?
