Terminal opens in the middle on Wayland (GNOME Shell 3.22.0)

For some reason, it opens up in the middle of the screen on 3.22.0 See the attached screenshot.

Hope this can be fixed as this is the extension I use most every day.

I just noticed that, for some reason, after the upgrade to 3.22 it had set the Wayland session as default. So I logged in on the Xorg session and this issue is no more.

So it does need to be fixed on Wayland, which is why I changed the title just now. Btw, not sure if it matters but I have an Intel video card.

On Wayland it ignores the position almost completely. If set to the sides either left or right it is always on the right and ignores the height settings. What 100% works is the top position. It accepts the height changes as well. A few screenshots for reference:
