OBS Game Capture appears to poll less frequently than it should

Using Game Capture in OBS to capture the MUNIA window results in weird issues for me. As you can see from this video, it looks like OBS does not refresh the MUNIA as often as it should. For instance, if I perform a short jump by tapping A and don't press any other button, OBS will show the button as held for a few seconds, or until I press another button or change direction on the analog stick.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with OBS or the MUNIA software, though. Do you know what could cause this?
