It would be nice to rather have a {{ partial "endbody.html" }} included in the foot partial, with hyde-x shipping an empty endbody.html file by default. Then users can easily add any extra analytics and other scripts they wish.

There is also an internal Google Analytics template that could replace the code for that here.
