Mac catalina 10.15.7 VST crashis ableton

I bought the vst some years ago, but now it crashes, if I upgraded my macbook,. Is there any zynaddsubfx vst versions for my catalina op system version ? Or is it ableton problem.

@pgervais As we were talking about hosts which need testing around releases it sounds like this should be a target for smoke tests down the road.

Acknowledged. At the moment I only have access to an M2 mac with a much more recent MacOS version. I may be able to find a way to get access to an intel mac, but I make no promises.

@mrvx Thank you for the crash report. Would it be possible to give us a few more details?

  • the version of Ableton that you're using
  • the version of zynaddsubfx you're using (did you compile it yourself, was it precompiled?)
  • what are the exact steps to reproduce the crash?
