WP 3.2 break slideshow with Static Front page selection [moved]

<b>What steps will reproduce the problem?</b>
1. Your Latest Posts selected (in Settings-Reading) slide show displays
2. Static Page selected, slide show does not display
3. Tested on clean install & sandbox copy of live site.

<b>What is the expected output? What do you see instead?</b>
In WP 3.1.x Arras shows slide show when a static page is selected as the front page. Using WP 3.2.0/3.2.1 and Arras 1.5.1.1 a static page selection will not display slide show on front page.

<b>What versions of WordPress and Arras Theme are you using?</b>
WP 3.2 & 3.2.1, Arras 1.5.1, 1.5.1.1

It appears coding change in 3.2 not sync'ing with the designation for Arras of a &quot;front page&quot; true event, and thus it does not display the slide show.
