Can I directly use two pictures as input to complete the swap of two faces?

Basicly, no. You need to align faces before swapping them.

Then I would like to ask how the swap of some side faces in the paper is done. Do both faces need to be aligned?(那我想请问一下论文中一些侧脸的swap是怎么做到的,是两张脸都需要对齐吗?

Yes, we aligned profile/side faces before swapping. If you are fimiliar with face recognition, alignment only relocates faces according to the locations of eyes, the nose and two polar points of the mouth, it doesn't mean we need to frontalize faces.

So, if I need to swap some faces of celeba-HQ, do I need to align all faces in celeba-HQ before using your code?
