Plugin not working on iPad

I'm using this plugin in many tables, each one with +-15 columns. Everything is fine in every browser I test, except iPad. What happens is that some columns are hidden and I can't scroll to see them.

Any idea what I can do?

+1 - using an ipad 1 (not retina) the tables spill over their containers
