Menu jumping when switching between sibling items

I am on the demo website and switching between Components/Buttons and Components/Badge pages using Chrome on desktop.

With every click, the Components menu comes into view and gets highlighted. There's a lot of menu jumping happening.

Is it possible to avoid all these animation effects when I just want to open a sibling menu item?
