Multiple instances by reopening Zulip

  • Clear steps to reproduce the issue: Installing Zulip Desktop through snap
  • Relevant error messages and/or screenshots: When the Zulip Desktop App is openned, by reopening Zulip, another instance of application is created.

This is the first time I'm seeing this error on prod. Let me check if I can reproduce this on my system.

In Ubuntu 18.04 if I disconnect from an organization another instance opens up. Screencast-from-Thursday-12-March-2020-01_26_25-IST

This issue seems to have gone quiet but I've recently noticed it happening. It was fine after Feb 2020 and seems to have reappeared recently.

I have two organisations, I notice multiple instances load up when I click a desktop notification.

Ubuntu 22.04 Zulip Desktop v5.9.5
