Unable to disable sound

Zulip Server and web app version:

• [ ] Zulip Server 7.x or older

Despite selecting no audiable notifications, zulip continues to play notification sound. Please fix it.

Also is this the desktop app, or the web app? And what OS? A possibility is that your OS is making a sound when a "visual desktop notification" is triggered. If you change the sound configured in Zulip's settings, do you hear that sound, or some other sound?

Desktop app on macOS 14.7.4. I don't have visual notifications as I have them disabled on in system settings, Notifications Off. Also I found a setting that says "Mute all sounds from Zulip" under Desktop settings. Maybe this could help remedy this because it clicks the whole day. I have Zulip always open either on my second screen or somewhere on my primary one.

Also after turning on "mute all sounds" under Zulip > Desktop settings, no sound is being played. Yay
