Read-Only Mode : title symbol?
Another quick idea, when in read only mode, it would be handy to have the taskbar title change to symbolise this; I would think just preceding the title with a unicode Key symbol would to do it to indicate locked (so there may also be a * symbol too if under edit). I think this could be done for all forms of read-only. The reason for this is because when I have more than one copy open I have all but one locked and this therefore indicates in the taskbar which one is the editing one and also reassures visually that I remembered to lock them. I'm thinking others may find the idea similarly helpful? d
I should add, it also proves useful when alt-tabbing to the window since the present "(read only)" is currently omitted due to title string truncation, whereas having it as a prefix symbol would make it clear so that you can tab to the correct instance.
