status bar buttons are barely visible for some background colors

as you can see: in some apps (like Textsecure) the buttons in the status bar on top (maximizing, minimizing etc.) don't fit to the background color (they stay white in this example although the background is light gray).

Other apps that have a similar light gray background for this bar work fine though (like K9 Mail)
