App Doesn't Work

I setup the app on MacBook Pro 2016 v10.14.5

When I press Media Keys it still launches iTunes, same thing with my headphone play button

It seems like it stopped working on High Sierra or Mojave.

If anyone has a good alternative, I'd love to know about it. Or if there's a good way to patch this solution.

@JLLeitschuh I've found that Mac Media Key Forwarder works in Catalina. It crashed my machine when I first launched it. Restarted the computer. Enabled the Accessibility tab, launched it, and it works like a charm. The reason I grabbed it was to set Spotify as the priority when using the Apple media keys (not safari or iTunes). I'm using this on a desktop so not sure how this works with Touch Bar.
