Error while installing zsh-autosuggestion

I am trying to install the autosuggestion plugin but getting an error of

: command not found...

: command not found...
: command not found...
~/.zsh/zsh-autosuggestions/zsh-autosuggestions.zsh:152: parse error near `in^M'

I have cloned the repo and put the zsh-autosuggestion path in .zshrc
