Why so slow?

It takes 1-5 second to load Chrome through Lorca.

It takes less than a second to load Chrome normally.

It's a new chrome instance. When you click the icon usually chrome is just minimized into the background rather than closing all the way. Try force closing your chrome and it should take a few more seconds to reopen
