I have put this file in my .homeassisant-config-www file

In Lovelace Dashboards I have added new resource and wrote URL like in video:

In Raw configuration I wrote in type: custom:grid-dnd and saved
-
But then I get this error:
What Im doing it wrong?
Many thanks for help!
Restart your server. I saw that someone was able to fix this by doing that
Hmm, glad I'm not the only one... only different for me is that I installed through HACS and my path to resource is /hacsfiles/Custom-Grid-View/grid-view.js
Home Assistant State
Core Version: 2021.1.5
Supervisor Version: 2021.01.5
Host Version: HA OS 5.10
Happy to help further with troubleshooting @zsarnett
Funnily enough, manual install seemed to work over HACS.
I have EXACTLY the same issue. I followed the instruction (manual install) but then get a red screen. Restarting the server did not help.
- added grid-view.js to folder /config/www/
- added resource (as per instruction with URL /local/grid-view.js
- added "type: custom:grid-dnd" to lovelace raw configuration.
- I get red screen.
Problem is still there. Was anyone able to solve the red screen issue "Custom element doesnt exist: grid.dnd"?
Another issue: I could not add repository to HACS. Tried everything.
*** update *** restarting the server did not work, but reloading the dashboard page after adding the "type: custom:grid-dnd" code did the trick. I also changed folder permission (I created and accessed my "www" folder on my HA Rasberry Pi from within Win10), not sure if this is related. Anyway, issue is now solved for me. Thanks again for a great feature!!!!
@avviano Thank you!!! I hadn't been able to get this working for forever!
I keep having the same issue here, this plugin does not work. Keep getting doesn't exist.
