This plugin is still not useless.

I'm using Xcode 8.3 with Iosevka font family and everything was ok until I tried to use PragmataPro. With this font family ligatures are not working out of the box. Installing and activating plugin functionality solved my issue.

me too, not work without this plugin, I use FiraCode font in Xcode.
