Hi @zrrrzzt, big fan of your work here!

Lately we've used your npm package, mainly the integration of html-validate. We've come across a few issues where the used version of this package is outdated and causes errors to show up (hint: dialog is a custom element prior to [email protected]).

For the moment we issued a manual patch to use the latest 7.x version of html-validate but could not update to 8.x due to breaking changes in their API.

It'd be very nice of you to update the dependencies in question and implement their latest API changes. I'd be eager to help along the way, just give me a bump here.
