Issue with docs.zowe.org/stable/extend/extend-apiml/api-mediation-security/

Description

I have installed zowe version 2.2 in my zos system. I am not able to find a directory named scripts inside my runtime library as I used to have in version 1 install. Also I am not able to find many .sh scripts inside my /bin folder which used to be there in version1.

Is that a version change that happened, if yes please updated that in the Doc of version 2, as it says things about - bin/apiml_cm.sh

Pages to Update

https://docs.zowe.org/stable/extend/extend-apiml/api-mediation-security/#certificate-management-script

  1. When I compare the version 1 and version 2 doc separately I see that the version 2 doc doesn't say anything about the scripts folder in /bin - (https://github.com/zowe/zowe-install-packaging/tree/v2.x/master/bin)

  2. But the version 1 had it - (https://github.com/zowe/zowe-install-packaging/tree/v1.x/master/bin)

Expected behavior

I would like to know the difference that version 1 and version 2 have. Expected behavior will be that we have the scripts folder inside the runtime and .sh scripts in /bin as the version 1 had.

And if that is a version change thing that happened then I would like to update the same in the Version 2 doc that you have.

Hi, thank you for raising the issue!

@janan07 In the following V2 doc, this link talking about bin/apiml_cm.sh is linking to https://github.com/zowe/zowe-install-packaging/blob/master/bin/apiml_cm.sh which directs people to the V1 repo. However, in V2 repo within /bin this script no longer exists. The documentation will need to be updated.

https://docs.zowe.org/stable/extend/extend-apiml/certificate-management-in-zowe-apiml/#certificate-management-script This script is stored in zowe/zowe-install-packaging repository bin/apiml_cm.sh. It is a UNIX shell script that can be executed by Bash or z/OS Shell. For Windows, install Bash by going to the following link: cmder.
