Creating related items
It's currently not possible to create related items using the web library. We can probably skip it for 1.0 and investigate further down the road.
@tnajdek could you add a relation to the current test library or tell me how to add one?
@flachware I've fixed related items pane as it wouldn't behave or render correctly. I've also created an item "_Has Relations" for testing.
Also related items functionality is not a priority for 1.0 release and it comes with few limitations that will be addressed post 1.0. One of the limitations is that we're not allowing users to add new relations (that's what this issue tracks).
@tnajdek thanks for fixing and adding a test item. I’m aware that creation of related items is not a priority for 1.0, I just wanted to see what’s there to be able to style it.
Speaking of creating related items, if I’m not mistaken this isn’t a trivial issue. Are you aware that not only items can be related, but also item notes and item attachments? This means with our current UI metaphor (notes and attachments as tab panes as opposed to subtree items) you could not create relations for them – even if we rebuilt the whole select dialog the client offers.
