Project Builder: delay when upload Project Avatar or Project Background

When we select (or drag & drop) an image file to be a Project's Avatar, it may take a while before the uploaded image is properly reflected on the Project Builder.

Video below: on a test project, I drag & drop an image file to the (empty) Project Avatar field. The "upload file" action seems to trigger, but upon success, the Project Avatar appears to remain empty. Reloading the page doesn't immediately show any difference

Upon refreshing, checking the network tab indicates that the avatar file IS properly registered when fetching (e.g.) https://www.zooniverse.org/api/projects/19242/avatar . 🤷

Status

Technically medium or low priority since core functionality isn't broken and there's a workaround (wait a while, then reload the page), but this must be quite frustrating for project owners. It'd be good if we can figure out what's going on.
