Project Builder: Functionality Bug

Affects: Project Builder -> Workflow Editor Confirmed on: 39d62576d532e4b7a8bca02831879cf6940c5ddf 25 Nov 2021

When we add a Transcription Task to a Workflow, that Workflow receives the config workflow.configuration.subject_viewer = 'multiFrame. This is fine. However, when you delete the Transcription Task, the Workflow config ISN'T corrected, and therefore continues to specify to the FEM Classifier to use the Multi-Frame Viewer.

Who would this affect?

  • Some Projects that use FEM and have Transcription Tasks (experimental tool) enabled
  • User would need to add the Transcription Task to a WF, then change their mind about it.

What's the worse that can happen?

  • The affected WF will start using the wrong Subject Viewer.
  • Workaround: inform the dev team, we'll fix the workflow.configuration manually.

Status

I'm marking this as a low priority bug for now since the pool of possibly affected users is small. (The Project would need to opt-in to use FEM and the Transcription Task experimental tool)
