Talk comment editor ignores the back button

Expected behavior

If I start to fill out a form, leave the page to look something up (via a link), then press Back, the form should still be filled out. Github's comment form is a good example of how this should work.

Current behavior

Please include any error messages from the browser console and/or screenshots If I start to fill out a Talk comment, leave the page and press Back, my carefully typed comment is gone forever.

Nooooooo I had a whole ESSAY written here responding to these thoughts and I lost it!!! Story of my week. Ugggggh. I will try to reconstruct it later. Very frustrating.

Steps to replicate

Fill out the Talk comment form, leave the page then press Back to return and submit the comment.
