Embed DataGrid in DataEdit

Hi,

I am trying to add a DataGrid into DataEdit.

What it did till now is created a new controller with DataGrid and added same in DataEdit through iFrame. I have added a checkbox in my grid so that user can check the records that they want to add in the record. I have achieved my task to displaying grid but i don't know how to fetch the data from the grid.

If there i is another appropriate way to achieve my task then kindly tell me
